Hello! Welcome to Sound Out! My name is Ednella, which is Sindarin-Elvish for Sound Out. Sound Out is a site which I made to help me in my humongous goal of sharing my faith to everyone I meet. On this site you will find scripture passages, quotes, and some links to my favorite websites. If you are a Christian, you can find tips that I have used to witness to some of my friends. Also, please sign the Guestbook. ~Ednella, the webmiss
New Updates: Gobbledygook's articles are discontinued right now. Whenever they are written they will appear at the blog. Also, I have changed the prayer page so that all updates will appear at the blog. I am sorry about the lack of recent updates!! Freshman workload is tough on me!!
My Confession
I believe that the Earth was created by God and for his glory. No one can achieve salvation on their own, they must trust God by faith and through grace alone. No one can earn their way to Heaven by good works, we must trust God and obey Him.
I am not perfect. No one is perfect. I am a sinner that deserves to go to hell and perish. Sin is unholy, therefore I am unholy. God is the only one in Heaven or Earth worthy to be called Lord. He is holy. God cannot have fellowship with an unholy creature, so He sent His Son, Jesus, to be born of a virgin, to live a human life, and to die on a cross. Jesus did not stay dead, however. He was buried in a tomb and rose to life again on the third day. In His death, Jesus took on our sins and died for them. Jesus took our sins away so that we can have new life, a perfect life with God and Heaven after we die. The Lord is great!
I have made it my life goal to serve this wonderful God that created me and all of human kind. It is my aim to sound out like the Thessalonians church that Paul wrote about. This is one way that I can do that. I can only help but echo that words of the song "Lord Reign in me":
"Lord reign in me, reign in your power, over all my dreams, in my darkest hour. You are the Lord of all I am. So won't you reign in me again?"- written by Breton Brown
Larry King Live
Here is the link to the transcript of the Larry King Live special aired on December 24th, 2004 (Who was Jesus?). Some of my friends didn't get to see it, but here is the link.

For some reason, CJB.net doesn't change the link every time you hit a link, so here are the links that I have used for Bible passages, sermon links, and other things like that. Just copy and paste these into your web-browser:

My friend is the webmiss of this totally RAD site (you learn a lot of words if you hang with her long enough). I recommend this site highly. Eruvyweth God-follower witnesseswhenever an opportunity arises. I have learned much from her including that we should never give up on God: NO EXCEPTIONS!!! She is also a great poet and enjoys writing, just like I do. If you are a Christian you will LOVE this site. Even if you don't believe in Jesus you will find this site well written, persuasive, and challenging to the brain. In her Guestbook someone wrote "not bad for a christian". This site is (as Gobbledygook would say) GROVVY!!!
Here is a poem Eruvyweth wrote when she visited Sound Out. Thanks a million, Eruvyweth!!!
I'll Bet
I'm not one to make guesses or one to predict,
I'm no gambler, no chance-taker, lover of risks,
But I know that birds sing when they soar in the sky,
And I know that when it rains, rivers flood and swell high!
So I'll bet that you can't keep us quiet,
I'll bet you can't stifle our voice,
I'll bet when we hear the best news in the world
You can't stop us from making some noise!
And I'll bet this against skeptics and scholars,
I'll bet this against sinners and saints,
I'll bet this against the wide world's anger,
'Cause I've never found proof this great!
I've seen people run out and tell all their friends,
I've heard cheering that seemed it would have no end,
And I know that when glasses are full, they overflow,
And I know that when you give life to light, things glow!
And if you stake your life against this bet,
Disappointment and death is all you'll get.
The grey rain curtain of the world will roll back,
Whose side will you be on, and what will you lack?
Thanks Eruvyweth!!! I love it!!!

This logo turns some people off, so I'd better explain it. My brother, Gaud, is a computer whiz kid. He has his own server that is powered by an operating system called Free BSD. The guy with horns and a pitchfork isn't a devil, its a daemon. Daemons are helpful spirits in Greek mythology. Now don't get me wrong. I don't believe in Greek mythology, but this is the official logo of Free BSD. For further explanation that I don't have time to type, e-mail Gaud at webmaster@gardenheights.org.
