Hey guys, I thought you might want to read what Puder wrote on his myspace about the situation. Also obviosuly I am going to work for a new layout and look for a host...since Puder will now be better than ever, I hope to make the site the same. If anyone knows about hosting opportunities, please e-mail me.

"Yes, the rumors are true. I have been offered a release from my Million Dollar contract by World Wrestling Entertainment. The fine print in the contract that I won on Smackdown's Tough Enough was that only the first of the four years (at $250,000 per year) was guaranteed. This is their right, so no bitching. I'm proud of winning the very first ever Million Dollar Tough Enough. I'm proud that I adapted from MMA to WWE. I'm proud of my work in the ring with my pro wrestling trainers Lance Storm and more recently Al Snow, who was my Tough Enough trainer too. I am proud of my association with a man like Danny Davis. I am proud to have worked with Tommy Dreamer. I am proud and have enjoyed working with and learning from Paul Heyman, and all the opportunities this experience has presented. And I know I will use this experience to my advantage when I make my next long term career move. For the time being, I am headed back to Louisville, because Paul scheduled me in an OVW Title match against Johnny Jeter tomorrow night at the Davis Arena, 4400 Sheperdsville Road in Louisville. I hope it's my best pro wrestling match to date. I live up to my obligations and committments. That's the kind of man I am. And I'm going to show the world that at 23 years old, WWE thought short term and not long term with me. But I won't brag about it in advance. I'll prove it to everyone

The last couple years for me have changed my life in may ways. I also have also started a NON-PROFIT organization for YOUTH STRENGTH TRAINING. Puder Strength Training www.pstusa.org. I have worked with youth from the ages of 10 years old to 21. Mixed martial arts are my passion and I've had a chance to learn directly from some of the best in the world including Frank Shamrock, Danny Chaid, Javier Mendez, and Bob Cook. "

From WWE.com: Daniel Puder, the Tough Enough winner who was released by WWE earlier this week, declined to comment on his situation when contacted by WWE.com Tuesday afternoon. Under the advisement of his agent Bob Cook, Puder did say he would release a statement this Friday. That statement will be available here on WWE.com.

Daniel Puder's contract with WWE actually ends this December. We're told Puder met with WWE talent relations head John Laurinaitis last Monday prior to RAW in Nashville, TN. He was informed that he was being released and was offered an immediate buyout of his contract which would allow him to be free to work for other promotion around the world or he could relocate to Atlanta and work for Deep South Wrestling. It is believed that he declined the offer to move to Atlanta and took the buyout instead. Puder was praised in OVW for working hard and making tremendous progress in recent months. He was in the middle of a huge push during the OVW TV show produced by Paul Heyman.

As it stands right now, Puder is looking forward to a future in MMA. Puder's first post-WWE appearance at a MMA event will be the "Fight Nite In The Flats" card this Saturday at the Scene Pavillion in Cleveland, Ohio.

Well hello all. Right now, having some free time away from homework, I would be posting the latest OVW Results, in which Puder was a big part. But no. I can't right now, I am too ticked. Let me pass this story along that I read on sescoops.com.

In a cost-cutting measure, World Wrestling Entertainment is letting go of yet another wrestler from the "Tough Enough" contests. They released the bountiful Nidia back in November, co-winner of the first Tough Enough. Tough Enough 2 co-winner Linda Miles (Shaniqua) was released shortly there after, mostly due to attitude problems. The sultry Jackie Gayda was released in early-July along with her husband in a shocking move. And WWE finally gave up on the poster boy of Tough Enough as Maven was released in July as well. The latest Tough Enough castoff to be let go is none other than Tough Enough 2004 winner Daniel Puder.

Puder being let go is a salary issue and he wasn't even making as much as some people thought he was. He had a $250,000, 4-year contract with WWE, so it could have been $250,000 over four years, not per year. Only the first year was guaranteed though. It was advertised as a $1 million dollar, 4-year contract by WWE when they made the contest, however, it is public fraud on WWE's part and they can get it away it too with the fine print in the contracts they have the participants sign. So when it's all said and done, Puder made between $50,000 and $75,000 for his one year under WWE contract. In comparision, Ashley Massaro will make $250,000 for her first year with WWE.

Despite Puder's 5-digit salary, WWE still deemed it too pricey and so thus they are letting him go, and with 90 days to spare to coincide with the end of his one year guarantee with WWE, which expires in December. Puder has the option of accepting a developmental contract and transfering to the Georgia developmental promotion, however, he'll only make $750 a week. That's the same deal Tough Enough losers Ryan Reeves, Nick Mitchell and Mike Mizanin have. He has not yet made a decision on whether to accept the developmental deal or not as of last word, so there is a possibilty he may stick around to train in the WWE minor leagues, but it's not likely.

Puder was really, really close to being a part of the group of the 20 unfortunate talents to be let go by WWE back in July, but Paul Heyman, Tommy Dreamer and Danny Davis stuck up for him by saying that he wasn't given enough time and that he was working hard on improving. He stuck around in OVW this past summer, but WWE has finally decided to just pull the plug on him and let him go. He may tryout for the next UFC "Ultimate Fighter" competition.

As I am concerned, this is a bunch of bull. So whether he accepts the other contract or not, I don't care. Frankly, his talent may never be fully utilized by the WWE, so we might be better off seeing him in a UFC ring. Or maybe TNA will be smart and pick up the phone. Honestly, now I am wondering why it is we HAVE Tough Enough if they are going to fire the person WE voted as wanting to see wrestle in the WWE, which we never truly got to see? Why not totally get rid of Tough Enough and just have one of those excruciating diva searches all year long? Sorry people for the rant, but I am mad.

OK guys sorry for being a bit lazy! Just enjoying the last bits of summer I have. I added OVW results in the results section. I am not going to bother with some of the ones I missed. Once school starts up I will get back into the habit of updating, seeing as I always find Pudermuch more interesting than some sort of history assignment. Also be on the look out for not only a new layout, but a new organization (hopefully) in general, not to mention a new forum with a section for you to ask Puder some questions!!!

These are from the 9th--I'll also be on the lookout for SummerSizzler results! Credit to secoops.com

Maria interviewed Brent Albright, who was backstage, in full gear, positioned to fight, staring at a door. Albright said, "When Johnny Jeter walks through the door tonight, we're going to have a conversation face to face. And then I'm going to find Ken Anderson and Daniel Puder." Great promo.

After a commercial break. Ken Anderson and Daniel Puder came out and Anderson said Albright was a lunatic, screaming and yelling (even though Albright was calm, cool, and collected). Anderson said they're leaving, but Puder wanted to stay and fight Albright. Anderson would have nothing of it, and forced Puder to leave with him. As they were departing the back door, they ran into Danny Inferno, and an argument broke out. Inferno went to the ring, and taped up his hand. Anderson and Puder came back in, and Anderson did his great routine of introducing everyone. He made this a "striker vs wrestler" match, and Puder beat Inferno with the Key Lock in a stiff looking match. Anderson announced Puder as the winner, and Albright hit the ring. Anderson tried to pull out Puder, but Puder squared off with Albright, who took Puder down. Anderson pulled Puder out of the ring.

Sorry these are a little late- OVW Results from Six Flags show on 7/28/05 I believe. Credit to pwinsider.com and to Karen and Marisa for emailing me the information.

OVW Heavyweight Title: Brent Abright (C) vs. Daniel Puder. This was an ok match. Short. Puder tapped out. This then turned into a bunch of run ins by the Tolands, Mr. Ken Anderson, Johnny Jeter, Matt Cappottelli. Randy Orton then comes out to help....then Ken Doane starts beating on Randy. Finally, Randy makes a come back and gives Ken Doane the RKO. Randy and the othe babyfaces celebrate and that is the end of the show.

Winner: Brent Albright.

Here are some OVW Results, credit to pwinsider.com

The first match of the tv show was Ken Anderson and Daniel Puder against two guys whose names I did not get. Anderson introduced everyone in a nice touch. Puder shot on the two guys, which was over big, partially because there were 10 of us from the Louisville MMA club in attendance tonight. After wiping the mat with the two unknowns, Puder tagged in Anderson who hit a senton for the win.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend! I put up a new section in media------animations, so go check those out! Also I have some pics from the OVW show, but right now I am focusing on moving us into a real gallery, so you will have to hold off on those. Sorry!

OVW RESULTS
(reported by our OVW connection...Karen

Puder came out and got on the mic and called out the OVW champ Brent Albright...Ken Anderson come out instead and said that he (Ken) may be the biggest heel, but he would never hit someone behind their back, just behind the referee's back...he also called Puder a chickensh*t (the week before Puder did a run-in after a Ken Anderson-Brent Albright match and attacked Albright from behind, putting the keylock on Albright and "seperating" his shoulder)

Puder took offense to Anderson and they decided to settle things in the ring then and there...Brent came out and it was a three-way (no referee so not an official match)...Anderson ended up hitting Albright from behind and it ended up being 2 on 1 (Puder and Anderson vs Albright)...Puder got the keylock on Albright again and then left Albright laying in the ring...Puder and Anderson ended up hugging and walked back to the back together.

Well all things are progressing pretty well for the new site. The affiliates page is now up, along with sections of media such as AIM Icons, MSN Icons, Desktop Wallpaper and Sigs. Woot.

This is just a quick post so I can share something with my fellow Puder fans. A few weeks ago I received in the mail a personalized autographed poster from Puder (well signed to me from him but it was sent to me by someone else)! I took a picture of it for you. It may be a bit crooked but I never claimed to be a photographer extraordinaire!

Seeing as those of you who were loyal to UltimatePuder didn't get an update on Puder since Karen told us of his match at OVW, here is an update for you all. They are Dan's own words from his Myspace blog, and a fascinating read. :)

Puder's update June 2005

Hello all and welcome to Puder-Source. I am your websmisstress Sara, but surely you all remember me. As most of you probably know, my old site dedicated to Mr. Puder was located at ultimatepuder.cjb.net. Why the change? Well frankly I was sick of sitebuilder on Geocities! So what I did was try to teach myself some html and what resulted was this whole new remodeled dedication to everyone's favorite $1,000,000 Tough Enough Champion. Enjoy the site, and please leave me some feedback on what you think. However try to be nice, this is my first bout with html so if you're looking for bells and whistles. . . they're not here! (Also... now you know I am the only person left who SAYS 'bells and whistles'.) Please be patient as I try to update and improve.

Toodles for now Puder Peeps!
