Graham Greenwood in 1944About the Story

This is the account of the experiences of one soldier's operation in Borneo. In a party of seven by submarine, he was the only born-again Christian. Over a period of fourteen months he experienced at least ten occurrences that pointed to the protecting hand of God at work, such as being transferred from one operational unit which was later lost in action, saved from an aborted and traumatic journey, saved from an evacuation air trip where the plane broke down, and many more!

For many years ex-servicemen were reluctant to talk about their war experiences, preferring to forget the carnage, dangers and loss of friends.

The writer of this book has another motive. Put together from a collection of diaries, scribbled notes and souvenirs, this true narrative aims to testify to his miraculous preservation in a dangerous clandestine military operation some 1,500 miles behind enemy lines.
