HELLO ALL First of all i thank you for your interest about me, well...I'm a 28 years old guy, form a small and beautiful town called, Brahmavar [Karnataka State], of Southern INDIA. I studied computer science and some more in Computer Field. I have studied Software Engineering diploma from, Aptech Computers and Systems Engineering Diploma from, SSi Technologies. As i'm Cirtified UNIX Proffessional (CUP) by Open Group Inc. now my target is to get CCNA. Presently working in Kingdom of Bahrain since 2 year, For UK Based company, Editec Technologies, as SQL Server Database Administrator I'm working in Windows 2000 Server. I'm Using Dell PowerEdge 6800 Series Server, which is loaded windows 2000 Server OS. Our SQL Server Runs on 3 Compaq Proliant ML370 Range High End Servers. Other Servers Including, E-Servers, SF Deamon Ethernet Controller Servers, Multitec Complete 4000 Series Communication Servers, Online Servers, SerialBridge Servers. My duty including: 1.Check the SQL Error logs for any errors that may of occured overnight. 2.Check available physsical Diskspace (stored procedure) 3.Check the Event Viewer. 4.Check the jobs for failed completion. 5.Check backups and log sizes. 6.Monitor performance with PERFMON 7.Check for outstanding active or blocked transactions. (stored procedure) 8.Database Back. 9.Dastabase Tuning. Weekly 1.Run Indexing 2.Run Integrity checks Monthly 1.Perform monthly security audits on all logins and users to SQL Server. 2.Perform physical disk fragmentation on data drives. I have Good knowledge in Windows 2000 and 2003 server, Networking, CISCO Switches and HUBs. I have good knowledge of Webdesigning, I have developed some webpages and few of them already published.
