MMH MISSION STATEMENT
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have a mission to serve the community with quality preventive and curative medical services including chronic illnesses and care for the orphans. We fulfil our mission with a commitment to working with marginalized members of the community, the government at all levels and other stakeholders.

MMH while working with other stakeholders and partners has a vision of providing quality preventive and curative medical services to the community and the orphans by having qualified, skilled and motivated staff supported by good medical, financial, administrative and communication systems.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION OF MBOZI DISTRICT
General location
Mbozi district is located in the South Western corner of Mbeya region, between latitudes 8? and 9? 12 south of the equator and longitudes 32? 7 300 and 33? 2 0 east of Greenwich meridian.
To the south the district is bordered by Zambia, to the east by Mbeya rural and Ileje districts. To the north, Mbozi district extends to Lake Rukwa where it is bordered by Chunya district, to the west it shares borders with Rukwa region and the Republic of Zambia.
POPULATION:
According to the 2002 census Mbozi district had a population of 515,270 people of which 245,151 are males and 270,119 females.
