Spratton 6-a-side

First Team

On this dark day for Kingsley Park, where were the big names for this historic football club (Peter Gregory, Ian Wake, Tom Bland and Simon Skipworth). The day got off to a bad start when the manager Mark Knight got out the team kit (yellow). Within seconds of players putting on their shirts they were covered in fly's. Macca was irritated by these fly's all day, and couldn't shake them off resulting in a below par performance. On the whole it was a day to forget.

Reserve Team

The reserve team could hold their heads higher than the first team after finishing joint second in their group and going out via a penalty shootout. The team they tied second place with were eventual runners up of the tournament.

After thought: Sir Christopher Pinches is a member of the stand up speak up campaign. This is why he has spoke so passionately about today's disappointment.
