Kingsley got off to a great start by hammering a very poor Harpole team. Kingsley lead 4-0 at the break thanks to goals from Matt Collins(2), Kev Marson and new signing Kim. The second half was also dominated by Kingsley as they eased off, but still managed 3 more goals through Matt Collins, Kev Marson and captain Jason Bradshaw. Kingsley should really have had more goals but you cant really fault 7-0 on day one of the season and the clean sheet is just as pleasing as the goals scored.
Overall it was a great start but we can't get too carried away as Harpole were very poor. Next weeks game against Northampton United will be a better test, but its a must win game if we are to improve on last years league position.
Man of the match goes to Shaun Weston (should be linesman every week).
Final Score: Harpole 0 vs 7 Kingsley Park
