The Origins

Where did the words and phrases of many posse members originate from and why have they spread so far?

Mint - Definition:
Adjective/noun/verb Meaning: Entertaining at the time; often is skilled or socially adept; Something of attraction.
[Synonyms - Cool, Awesome, Great, Mint-condition]
[Antonyms - Stupid, Lame, Boring, Alex]
Examples: 1."Yo man that was mint when you told that chick she was fat".
2."That movie was mint".
3."That blonde girl thinks I'm mint, I'll be tapping her later".

Origin: This term originated in Irondequiot New York. It was said commonly in the local High Schools and traces back to a Restaurant known as Nick's Seabreeze Inn. The son of the owner can claim ownership of this term. Many of the employees of the restaurant worked with the owner's son, thus spreading the word. He used the term to MUCH extent. It was initially used by others as a way to make fun of the originator but caught on as a commonly used word.

Mick had met the originator who was in his van driving around with two of Mick's friends. They pulled up to Mick and following was said; "Look at my mint van. You see what your friends did to my mint van?? They stabbed the dashboard! Why would they stab the dashboard, That is not mint! Hey you got anything mint in those bags you are throwing out?" As said before, he uses the term to much extent.

'nt - Definition:

[Antonyms - Yes, Sure, Da, absolutely]
'Nt can be added to any word to make the word or entire sentence negative.
Can be used on words other than could, would, should and the likes. This can also be used on someones name, meaning they are negated.
Examples:1."Steve'NT"-That name works well as it sounds like your going to say Steven.
2."I will'nt make out with that ugly girl"
3."That girl is ugly'nt"

Origin: Created in this terminology by Mick and Mike (former posse applicant). This now widely used term, began while Mick and Mike were playing a first person shooter computer game called Team Fortress Classic. They were on the phone with one another as team speak was not out or wasn't known yet. Both of them in sniping positions, Mike announced "You see that scout over there?". Mick replied "I see'nt". IT WAS DONE, NT had been created at that very moment. To seal the creation of the word/term, Mike responded to Mick by saying "I see'nt not so therefore I see". Nt has been used commonly ever since. Some people do not understand NT, to those people, I say you are dumb and need to go back to school. Especially those whom do still not understand the term when it is spell out in front of them such as "It means the same thing as couldn't, you can attach it to any word like hear'nt". Some people still don't understand after being told that.
