BIOGRAPHY

The band was born in Malaga in April of 1996 wich was called Raska y Pika. During that time, the sound of the band was a basic sound, next to the Ramones or NOFX.

In May of 1997 they published their first demo "Mushroom Attack", which contained 9 tracks like "Fucking Nation", "Away" or "Bob".

In October of 1998 they recorded at Pig Studios (Granada) with Javi PPM their second demo "Punk Time Rock". This demo conteined 10 songs.

During 1998 and 1999 the band played in several shows in Malaga. In October of 1999, at Pig Studios again , they recorded their third demo: "Chopsticks"

In summer of 2000, Raska and Pika increased the number of their components with Víctor Peña (guitar). Víctor came from bands like Visual Searching or Oki Doki.

In 2002 they started to record at Ecoson studios (Málaga) . The title of this demo is "Let..s Talk About Stupid Things", a tribute to Lagwagon.

In 2004 the band decided to change the name, Dogbowl appears in the scene. They..ve just changed the name, the components were the same and the style too, melodic Hardcore and Californian Punk. In this year, they got a new recording "And Six Months Later..." .During six hard months, they recorded and mixed at Wired Studios (Málaga) twelve songs.

At this point, the band start to show the new demo in several venues of Spain with a new EP "Split" in 2007.

2009, new realise is here, "Drive in" shows us the new way of the dogbowl..s sound: slower, more controlled and powerful than before.......................................................The story will go on...
