Miss Vivienne Scarlet
(Sienna Guillory)
Young, lively, beautiful, and utterly out of
work. Having been an actress with a reputation
for flops, the critics in England were getting
rather tired of her. So when a part became
available in a French musical, Vivienne jumped at
it, only to find out that was a flop as well.
With a bad reputation waiting for her back in
England and the Germans approaching quickly, Miss
Scarlet decides to make a new life for herself in
Switzerland, at least until the war is over. |

Colonel Michael
Mustard (Jonathan Cake)
A soldier wounded in action and being shipped
home to England, Mustard wants to see some more
of the world. He definitely sees what he was
looking for when he meets the glamorous Miss
Scarlet and falls instantly in love. Though he
was planning to go to Venice, he immediately
changes his travel arrangements when he finds out
Miss Scarlet is on her way to Switzerland. |

Mrs. Blanche White
(Pam Ferris)
Mrs. Peacocks only British servant, Mrs.
White, is her cook/ housekeeper who is
accompanying her to Switzerland. After the death
of her husband, Winslow White, Mrs. White was
left with nothing but loneliness and debts.
Fortunately she found a post as a cook/
housekeeper for Mrs. Peacock and became a devoted
employee. Mrs. White has never been lucky in love
and is still looking for that special
someone

Mr. Jonathan Green
(Jamie Theakston)
Mr. Green is a secret agent sent by Her
Majestys Secret Service to uncover secrets
from the Nazis. Unfortunately, the Nazis get to
close to France before Green has a chance to
discover their plan of attack. Green is then told
to seek refuge in Switzerland until it is safe to
return to England. Little does Green know
hell find the love of his life during his
journey on the Orient Express. |

Mrs. Elizabeth Peacock
(Jane Asher)
Elizabeth Peacock was a member of the British
upper crust. That is, until her third husband
died in suspicious circumstances just like the
others. The tabloids had a field day and all her
supposed friends did not want to be
seen with her, so she left for Paris. Though,
this didnt last for long because the
Germans were about to take over France and Mrs.
Peacock was forced to leave. Not wanting to go
back to England, Mrs. Peacock decides to enjoy
her war in Switzerland. |

Prof. Peter Plum
(Richard Attenborough)
A vital link in helping Britain win the war,
Professor Plum is one of the worlds leading
specialists on explosives. The government had
smuggled him into Germany under the name of
Professor Pflaume, to supposedly help Hitler
develop his atomic bomb. But someone within the
government leaked information and Hitler learned
that Pflaume was actually Plum. Plum had a very
narrow escape to Paris before returning to
England. But when Hitler began to invade France,
Plum needed to get out as quickly as possible and
the trip on the Orient Express to Switzerland was
the fastest way. |

Captain Robert Brown
(Corin Redgrave)
Mrs. Peacocks brother-in-law and Emily
Peachs godfather. Brown has never married
and would be terribly lonely if it wasnt
for Miss Peach, so when she announced that she
was engaged to solicitor Graham Slate-Gray, Brown
was devastated. He would have no one with him
anymore. That is, until, he meets Blanche
White

Miss Emily Peach
(Christina Cole)
Emily Peach was abandoned by her mother at birth
and she was delivered into the care of her uncle,
Captain Robert Brown. Having had no mother to
take care of her, Emily was sent to several
boarding schools in England and is now on her way
to visit friends she made at her finishing school
in Switzerland with her godfather and her
fiancé, Graham Slate-Gray. |

Mr. Graham Slate-Gray
(Martin Kemp)
A partner in the law firm of Slate-Gray,
Slate-Gray and McBride, he is engaged to the
beautiful Emily Peach. Now that he has inherited
a large amount of money from his recently
deceased father, Graham should be relatively
happy, but he feels that his engagement is wrong.
Always the gentleman, Graham will not break it
off without a very good reason. |
