 Q: How many times has Scratchy been killed?
 A: It's hard to find and exact number, but Scratchy has passed away about 55 times.

 Q: Why is Itchy so cruel to Scratchy?
 A: Whoa, that's a though one! Itchy hurts people simply because he's a psychopathic
 nutcase. How he became the cat-slashing wacko we know him as today remains
 unknown

 Q: Is there an official Itchy & Scratchy website?
 A: Nope. The official Simpsons website is www.thesimpsons.com. But so far these
 two characters haven't received a official home on the web.

 Q: Is Itchy and Scratchy based on Tom and Jerry?
 A: Most probably yes. Matt Groening explained in the comment track in "Itchy,
 Scratchy & Marge" on the season 2 DVD that he drew a very violent cat and mouse
 comic as a kid, but if he based them on Tom & Jerry is unknown.
 But if you think of it, T&J are the letters that follows S&I in the alphabet.
 So maybe there is a hidden secret somewhere.
