BODYPUMP 57 - UNPLUGGED - PUMP IT!
TECHNICAL REVIEW!
The class concentrates on the abdominal stabilization throughout the release. This is a working release and should be seen as such. It focuses on the proper execution of correct technique.
Music wise it is a longer (music framed) release which means lowering the weights and working on technique. Then you are working you way upwards in weight progression with this release. It reminds me of the Bodypump 30's series which is a good reference point.
New music comes our way with Cascada - Everytime we Touch, Infernal - From Paris to Berlin, Garbage - Push It, Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mama, The Black Eyes Peas - Pump It, I want you - Paris Avenue, Rock Star - Nerd, Don't Cha - Pussy Cat Dolls and Unbreak my Heart - Il Div0. This release is full of new music and Michael has excelled himself music wise this time around.
Track 4 and 8 diserve mention in this review!
TRACK 1 - Come to me - Tina Cousins!
It is one of the best valued track 1's in the 50's series of Bodypump! Michael always chooses uplifting music for track 1's. Pretty Young Thing is her new single from "Wonderful Life" The single "Come to Me" was released 19 Sep 2005 in Australia. It was produced by Peter Waterman.

Track Information
Tina Cousins sets the mood for the release with this techno driven track. It is fast track and sets the mood for the class. It is a form based track and sets the exercise routine for the rest of the class. In saying that there is tons of smooth moves and a wicked count beat to the track. It has a wonderful surprise ending. (Michael has stripped the track back) which is awesome as it allows proper form correction from the get up and go.

TRACK 8 - Rock Star (Clean Edit) - N.E.R.D!
N.E..R.D have entered the house. I have been waiting since 2003 for this track in Bodypump. This track and the one by "Cascada" are standout tracks from this release. Michael has worked tons of options into this track Which should please the die-hard Bodypumpers out there. This track and the one from release 55 "I Get Up" are outstanding in that they work the shoulders and upper body. The end result is lactic acid burns which are awesome in track 8.

TRACK 10 - Unbreak my Heart - IL Divo !
Music Rating: 10/10.
The releases that Michael has choreographed towards the end of him being Product Manager and Head Choreographer are some of his best work. This release will not disapoint anyone.
That’s my review of Bodypump 57!
Then there is Michael's quote "Use it before you abuse it."
