10/4/05 Well, we have to give credit to the new shop and their owners in Baraboo in officially screwing and losing business before thier official opening. You see, this past Friday, we were not notified of painting that weekend that closed the shop. The LARP staff was never contacted about it. We had to call them ourselves. Now this isn't the problem. A simple phone call would have been nice to let us know, since we had to call all the LARPers to let them know.

Here's the problem. Myself and Jean, one of the Narrators, decided to go hang out with some people in the Wis Dells Country Kitchen. While there, a few other people came in to meet with friends of theirs. They asked them if they wanted to go down to the Baraboo shop to play some Magic, and that they'd receive a discount if they went.

Now if we couldn't hold LARP there that evening because they were closed from painting, how is it that the Magic players could go there to play Magic, with the owner there. Wow, this sounds like a little con to get rid of the LARPers, does it not?

Well, he's succeeded. Fuck Corey and his new business partner, Ryan Jopp. That's right, the owner of the last shop in Baraboo that all but went under due to insane customer gouging. This is the same man that tried to charge everyone just for walking in the door! The Narrator staff is looking for a new location again, and we're taking our customer business elsewhere. They lost a good chunk of local business due to not being honest with us.

That said, they'll probably just laugh and sit back, thinking that we're nothing and that we don't really matter to them. Thier business will go on. But think about this business boys; when you create an upset customer, that customer will tell at least 8 other people about their experience. Those 8 people will tell their friends, and so on. You just pissed off about 25 people. Based on those statistics, that's 200 people that will here about it from just us. Add this website to it, and anyone can know at any time. If those 200 people tell at least 8 others, well, you get the idea.

Corey and Ryan, good luck on your backstabbing business and your newfound reputation. I know that we'll make sure that everyone hears about the new gaming shop in Baraboo in all it's truth.
