relax and meditation Day 2: Departure from Marrakech 0800. Ouarzazate via the Tizi N'Tichka pass (2260 m). Stop to visit the former Palace of Pasha El Gualoui, in Telouet. Then on along the Aït Ben Haddou valley,. This is film-making country, the backdrop to such films as Laurence of Arabia, Romancing the Stone and Mary of Nazareth. Camp near the Ksar. Day 3: Leave Aït Ben Haddou passing through Amerzgane and Taznaght on the way to Foum Zguid, where we spend the night under canvas. A beautiful road through oasis and villages. Day 4: We leave Foum Zguid and our route to the night's camping place at Chegaga leads us into the desert-arid plains- black peaks and valleys of sand and tamarinds. There are three days of desert life and experiences before you at this point. Day 5: Striking camp at Chegaga, we go on towards Mhamid and Zagora. We spend the night under the desert stars among the small dunes near Tizi N'Tafilalet. Day 5:
On towards the El Maider dunes, a prefect place to observe the symphony of
colour that is sunset in the desert. Another night in the peace and silence of
the desert. Day 7: Off to Erfoud via Tinerhir with a visit to the fossil beds and a night under canvas in the Todra gorge between beetling cliffs. . Day 8: Deeper into the Todra gorge towards Tamtatouchte, Know as the farthest village from " civilization ". Here Man lives in harmony with a harsh, unforgiving and yet infinitely beautiful natural world. Another camp is set up for us in the Dades gorge near Msemrir. Day 9: Through the Dades gorge to Boumalne ; Klâat Mgouna and to Boutaghrar for overnight accommodation in the tents. Day 10: Through the Dades gorge to Boumalne ; Klâat Mgouna and to Boutaghrar for overnight accommodation in the tents. Day11: From Boutaghrar across the Iguernane plateau to set up camp in Skoura. Day12: Setting off in the Ourzazate direction we visit the town and its Kasbahs and camp near Taliouine. Day13: Up to the Tizi N'Test pass, wonderful villages and spectacular landscape. This is a chance to see "the argan" a type of tree that exists only in Western Morocco and Mexico.The last night of the trek is spend in the village of Imlil, 68km Marrakech. Day13: Return to Marrakech in the morning. Day 14: A guided tour of Marrakech will be arranged for the morning, with the rest of the day free to explore the sights and souqs. Day 15 : Trip ends & Flight back. Start your trip in Marrakech, Morocco’s most captivating city, where you can stay in a luxurious riad in the heart of the city. From here, it is a scenic drive across the Atlas Mountains to the palm-shrouded oasis of Skoura where you can stay in an authentic 17th century Kasbah. Using Skoura as a base, you can explore the spectacular scenery and kasbahs of the Dades Valley before driving along the fertile Draa Valley to the town of Zagora. DAY 1: Arrival in Marrakech, transfer to the hotel and a short equipment check, briefing in the evening. Day 2: Leave Marrakech in the early morning sunlight and head for Tizi N'Tichka - taking the highest road in Morocco (2260 m).Through the beautiful Atlas landscape, down to Telouet, where we have a short hike over to the river Ounila.The warm up..Then on to Aït Ben Haddou, one of the most famous ksars in Morocco . Camp is set up in a Skoura palm grove. Day 3: Break camp and into the Dades Valley with her palm groves to start with, giving way to orchards and market gardens. Then into the Dades Gorge, a canyon, we will make our way following the trail as it twists and turns up sides of the vertical faces... We hike for an hour before spending the night under canvas at M'Smrir, a Middle Atlas village. Day 4: Through the Tizi N'Ougard Zegaoune pass Day 5: Across the crest of Jbel Saghro via the Tizi N'Tazazert pass (2283 m). Explore
the rocky outcrops and strange tower formations of the petrified forest of Bab
Ben Ali on foot. Down to the village of N'Kob and overnight accommodation under
canvas in the Draa palm groves. Day 7: Return to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and the Tizi N'Tichka pass, arriving towards the end of the afternoon. The night is spent in a hotel. Day 8: Transfer to airport and departure.at Tinfou. Dinner and an evenings entertainment consisting of folk songs and dances at the village where we spend the night.
