Absurd - Grimmige Volksmusik

The oldest and most famous NSBM band of the world Absurd released after their last Full-Lenght album ``Blutgericht`` a new EP and this is different from all the previous Absurd releases: they make Metal versions of german folk and traditional songs. No Black Metal elements anymore as on the ``Asgardsrei``record... they use also humpa elements as Moonsorrow and Finntroll are also doing. The atmosphere on that record is also not the usual: many ``happy`` melodies and sometimes a party-feeling comes over,as on a viking festival. The language is as usual german and the typical guitar melodies have also not changed! Aaaah also awesome is that they use clean vocals again as already on ``Facta Loquntuur`` record. So old feelings also come over. Seems that Absurd are people that still want to have fun in music and especially as musicians; also to be more professional on their instruments. So Absurd use now Finntroll elements. Anyway we will wait for their next Full-Lenght album but ``Grimmige Volksmusik`` is a good EP!
