Here are some facts from the SONS OF NORTH history which is unavailable in English:
OlegSS founded his NSBM-project SONS OF NORTH in
2002 year.
He wrote all music with lyrics and performed them by himself.

Because of technical problems he couldn't record his music qualitatively until 2004 year when OlegSS recorded his 1st demo-album with the same name "Sons of North". It sounded like BURZUM in the best classic north traditions. OlegSS made nearly 200 CD-R copies which made a sensation in Russian NSBM scene. |

After recording he met me - Oskal. I think it was a fate due many reasons. For example, we are looking as brothers. So we began play together. My participation made SONS OF NORTH a live band.

Some later at the end of 2004
was recorded the 2nd album "Eagle Gaze". We decided that our music must
be released only by us. Therefore was founded SCHUTZSTAFFEL RECORDS.

In March'2005 we performed SONS OF NORTH on the concert with TEMNOZOR', M8L8TH, VELIMOR and KOLOVRAT. Salutes to our session drummer Svjagir (TEMNOZOR', VOLKOTEN', FOREST, VANDAL). He helped us a lot.

In April'2005 was created 3rd
album "The Death of White Race". It was the extremely rawest S.O.N.

20 April of 2005 year - OlegSS was arrested after his unlucky nigger's murder and he would be in prison more than 7 years accused of racial hatred.
All deals with releasing and promotion of S.O.N.
albums were given to me (Oskal).
I worked with SCHUTZSTAFFEL RECORDS 24 ours a day. SONS OF NORTH had great
promotion for all the world. ThankX for total support and help to Gorruth
(STELLAR WINTER RECORDS).
Next release of SCHUTZSTAFFEL RECORDS in the middle of 2005 year was 1st SONS OF NORTH album in CD-version.
Result of my work was that at the end of 2005 year SONS OF NORTH became more well-known Russian NSBM band in Europe and Vinland.
In September'2005 OlegSS was free. Money controls everything - so we got OlegSS back from the prison.
We don't know about the S.O.N. future. "The Death of White Race" was a final album of S.O.N. trilogy and new albums will be hardly created…

What is your pseudonym in S.O.N. and what are you doing in the band?
My pseudonym is Oskal.
I play on bass and provide releasing and promotion of S.O.N.
In official sides there stands only Oleg for S.O.N. Why?
Because OlegSS is a founder of S.O.N.
Another reason: ZOG and ACAB don't sleep so photos of all S.O.N. members
can be used by them very effectively.
Less photos less clues.
On promo photos we can see Oleg with boots and white laces. Do you connect with skinhead music, skinhead organizations or something like that?
No, we aren't from the skinhead organizations.
But we have many skinhead comrades and there is a strong co-operation in
street actions and musical deals between us.
Every BM band has a lyrical concept...why have you chosen the third Reich of Adolf Hitler and not for example Slavic paganism? What do you like so much on the third Reich?
S.O.N. also has a lyrical concept and it doesn't
devote only to Adolf Hitler and Third Reich.
In some of our songs we remember Slavonic Gods…
But the leading theme is Racial Holy War without
any compromises with subhumans - jews, niggers, muslims, asians etc.
Total Racial control is a foundation of the future Aryan National Socialism.
S.O.N. propaganda is straight and strong - how must be killed untermensch
scum.

Tell us your musical influences.
Classic North Black Metal from early 90's - BURZUM, DARKTHRONE, SATYRICON, IMMORTAL.
National Socialist Black Metal - acts of BLAZEBIRTH HALL, ABSURD, PANTHEON, TEMNOZOR'.
S.O.N. seems to be a band that stands on his own....you are not in a such NSBM bands group like BlazeBirth Hall for example... what do you think anyway about BBH and Armour Get Dawn?
BLAZEBIRTH HALL is the greatest ancestry of Aryan Black Metal Art. Their music tells you more than my words.
The founder of ARMOUR GET DAWN Productions Ogneslav
is a very talented person.
I support his active participant in Russian NSBM scene.
Most of his projects are very good. But he had big problems with ZOG, therefore
he stopped his activity some years ago.
Maybe he will arrive to NSBM resistance…
This year ARMOUR GET DAWN was revived by another comrade. I hope he will
present us new NSBM releases in the nearest future.
How would you describe the music of S.O.N. to someone who never heard for the band?
Black Metal of White Race.
Anyway...firstly this is enough about S.O.N. and let's start with another topic. I heard you have a label called Schutzstaffel Records.....explain us please this, tell us about the label and the future releases.
SCHUTZSTAFFEL RECORDS was founded by OlegSS and I (Oskal) because of we had decided that S.O.N. must be released only by us. After arrest of OlegSS I began work on it alone.
First release was "Eagle Gaze" CD which was out at the beginning of 2005 year.
In May'2005 I produced demo-album "Sons of North".
Then became time of large promotion of S.O.N. albums. Therefore you can find its CDs through different BM-labels.
In December'2005 I created another label - FROSTSCALD RECORDS - which is specialized on Norsk Arisk Black Metal without openly NS-propaganda. I did it because of my devotion to BM underground with pure Aryan spirit.
In January'2006 I released tapes THUNDERSTORM "Hatred Burning Northern Sky" - Russian Black Metal horde in the vein of early IMMORTAL with strong fast drums and raw guitars.
Next FROSTSCALD's release will be out in May'2006 - ODAL "inst verehrt von allen…" - tape-version of MCD released by CHRISTHUNT PRODUCTIONS (www.christhuntproductions.com). ODAL performs finest German Heathen Black Metal.
I hope tape-version of their last full-length album "Wilde Kraft" will be also released by FROSTSCALD RECORDS.
This May I'll produce CD and Tape versions of the
final S.O.N. album "The Death of White Race".
There were many problems and delays with its releasing. I think it will
justify my waiting. It is a masterpiece of NSBM.
I don't like tell my future plans until I'll do
them.
But I must say that you can wait from SCHUTZSTAFFEL and FROSTSCALD strong
releases.

Could bands still write to you if they need a place in your label or aren't you interested anymore in releasing CDs or signing bands?
Of course, it is possible to be released on SCHUTZSTAFFEL RECORDS.
But I have strict conditions:
1) All members of the band must be White persons
with purest NS mind.
2) Band must play NSBM with straight and strong NS-propaganda.
3) Good recording with traditional Black Metal sound.
What do you think personally about the nowadays NSBM scene and what do you think about the Polish and Russian NSBM scene?
I think Russian NSBM scene is one the strongest in the world.
Last two years were very active. And we work hardly nowadays under the banner of THE PAGAN FRONT.
Russian wastelands presented the greatest NSBM-warriors such as M8L8TH, SONS OF NORTH, VELIMOR and VOLKOTEN'.
TEMNOZOR' recorded the new album which proved the deepest Aryan essence of this cult Slavonic Pagan Metal act.
FOREST and BRANIKALD performed the finest National Socialist Black Metal in their last albums.
Young Aryan Blood streams through the newest NSBM-labels - CHERNOVIT PRODUCTIONS (founded by TEMNOZOR' guitarist), LOST REICH RECORDS (founded by M8L8TH members) and SCHUTZSTAFFEL RECORDS.
And proud member of THE PAGAN FRONT - STELLAR WINTER RECORDS - released a big amount of qualitative Black Metal hordes.
About Polish NSBM scene you can tell more than I.
I know good bands from Poland - SALTUS, GONTYNA KRY, WOJNAR, GRAVELAND, VELES, LORD WIND, VENEDAE, PIORUN, SLAVLAND etc. - all of them create Honest Pagan Metal full of Ancient Slavonic Spirit. Hail to Them!
Also I must noticed CAPRICORNUS and THOR'S HAMMER.
But he had many problems with ZOG last time… "Fate Worse than Death".
