ACT Outdoors Group is an informal group promoting active and healthy outdoor activity in the gay and lesbian community
and has been part of the Canberra community continuously for over fifteen years. There are no committees or joining fees.
Activities are wide and varied, and can range from the challenging, such as canoe trips, ice skating and skiing, to the more sedate, such as ten pin bowling, steam train trips or a weekend on a house boat. However, our most common and popular activity is day bushwalks in and around the scenic hills and National Parks around Canberra. ACTOUT is a great way to meet new people in a fun, interesting and friendly environment, whilst exploring some of the wonderful, natural and man made wonders of the Canberra region. We usually have social planning dinners every three months to plan our events for the upcoming season.
